Its X/Y design gives you the freedom to move your camera front to back and side to side using gear-driven controls. Lock-down knobs keep your camera steady when you are ready to press the shutter button. The MR1 features the ProMaster dovetail quick release system (compatible with arca-swiss type dovetail products) for rapid attachment to a tripod (with matching receiver) as well as your camera.

Using the controls to operate the focusing rail

Loosen the X axis lock-down knob and then rotate the X axis control knob either direction to move your camera side to side. Do the same with the Y axis lock-down knob (and Y axis control knob (10) to achieve a front-to-back movement. For best results tighten the lock-down knobs before taking a picture.
